Fall is here! Much has already started happening this season: galas, weddings, parties, and pre-holiday planning to name a few. It’s going to be tricky to keep up, but here’s a few tips that may help you:
1. Be still. I just practiced this yesterday. As you get bombarded with work, family and social life, take a moment out of the day to just reflect. You will regroup and get a new perspective to better your hour, your day, yourself.
2. Get focused. You’ll need to do this before you stay focused! A great way to do this is to keep track of what you’re doing. I used to keep a mental list of what I need done and when, who I need to meet and where, etc. Nowadays, I use my phone, notepads, and people to keep me in check. Yes, people…I tell others to remind me frequently, and it really helps!
3. Take a step back to make the next move. I have a bad habit of jumping into something without fully understanding what’s needed. An example is me wanting to have a 1-year celebration for my boutique on what I thought was a convenient day: Sunday after Thanksgiving. Nope! It may be a good day for me, it’s hard for my team who’s helping plan it. I didn’t consider people flying back from the holiday or vacation with their families. So case in point, I have moved the date to December 11th ? To move forward, you must take a step back so you can observe the full picture. Time is money, but it might cost more if you don’t plan properly.
The weather may be shifting to cold quickly, but it doesn’t mean you should fall like the leaves. Do you have tips for getting through a hectic schedule this season? I would love to know!

Deneice
