IIt’s been awhile since I’ve gone out in a pant suit and I’m reminded of how cool it feels to be in one. On this particularly hot summer day in Houston, I went around to meetings in Putumayo’s pinstripe vest ensemble. I combined their latest coordinate with an older black sleeveless blouse by Trina Turk and LAMB strap heels. Believe me, I love an entirely new outfit as much as you, but sometimes a girl needs to pair things up with what’s in her closet!
The lightweight fabric of the pants and vest helped me stay refreshed in Houston’s renowned humidity. While heat influenced my decision, I wanted a distinct look for the day. The gray pinstripe suit can be worn as a business apparel or any time of year when going out. It can be paired with a collared long sleeve in any color, or underneath a jacket or coat. I adore the splash of sass of this Putumayo suit. It’s adjustable length and suspenders gives it edge and a youthful vibe. It can definitely be striking among a typical dress suit. I love when what I’m wearing speaks for me. Fun was a factor, and it was definitely enjoyable wearing this unique suit around town! Remember, it’s okay to stand out with your attire.
