Angelic Pretty Tea Party in Tokyo

Fall in Tokyo usually means Angelic Pretty Tea party time. Over the years, they have put up the biggest, fanciest, most extravagant, Tea Parties of any Japanese Lolita brand in Japan. Enthusiasts from all over the world come together to celebrate their love for Angelic Pretty. Myself and John were invited to this event, and although John had been before, this was my first time at a Tea Party in Tokyo. The venue was the Tokyo Marriott, a stone’s throw from Shinagawa station. A Gorgeous hotel to say the least. Seating was limited to about 280 people in the ballroom and the name of the 2016 event was Brilliant Night Party.
Photography was not allowed during the show, but we got permission to snap around, when the Fashion Show was not going on to feature on here and give everyone a glimpse at some of the coordinates of the attendees.

A few snaps near Shin Okubo station in my Marie Antoinette Princess Dress and we arrived at The Tokyo Marriott and met with the Editors of Gothic & Lolita Bibles. After a few snaps, the doors opened and the party started!

Wonderful people make for memorable times. I’ll share the runway photos when we have permission to do so! The 2017 Tea Party might be a year away but we are 5 days from The Shop in Wonderland Grand Opera Tea Party. I hope to see everyone there!
XOXO,

Although, many people wore the same dresses or prints, it’s amazing how their outfits overall are unique and different to their own style– one of the reasons why I love Lolita so much!

p.s. How can Jon go to a Tokyo tea party without you????

I think I’m making going to a Japanese tea party part of my bucketlist. Everyone look so amazing and I’m blown away by the over the top coords! They’re all so cute and brilliant to see. Very inspiring
